Let’s find room for some persecuted Christians

By Derby Telegraph
UNDER Assad’s Alawite Muslim regime in Syria, Christians were tolerated even if not encouraged. But now, in the areas controlled by the opposition forces, they are being persecuted and must be given a route to escape from the elements in these areas fighting it out among themselves.

Christians are having their churches bombed and face death if there is any sign of resistance to the new opposition establishment.

Sadly, the same thing is happening in both Egypt and Libya.

As for the other thousands of refugees, I think Saudi Arabia should take them in as they are their co-religionists and have plenty of space. I would rather that we take a persecuted minority of Syrian Christians than thousands of economic migrants from eastern Europe.
