As Chaldean American Joe Kassab, President and founder of ICAE Institute meet two powerful US Law Enforcement officials: The US Immigration and Custom Enforcement (ICE) National Director Sarah Saldana and The US Attorney for Southeastern Michigan Barbara McQuade during a meeting at US Citizenship and Immigration Services offices (USCIS) in Detroit.
Discussions ranged from ICE protocols and policies, immigration, refugees, community leadership engagement, law enforcement staff cultural education, and new arrivals acculturation. ICAE is grateful to the Federal law enforcement agencies for the invite, for keeping us informed, and for listening to our people concerns.
