Chaldean American Chamber awards two scholarships

The Chaldean American Chamber of Commerce awarded two scholarships at the Chaldean Federation of America’s 30th Annual Scholarship Luncheon. Mena Hermiz, who received a $1,500 grant, is a graduate of Adlai E. Stevenson High School in Sterling Heights where she maintained a 3.98 GPA. She will be attending the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor this fall and has yet to declare a major.
Gabrielle Lossia, a recipient of a $1,000 grant, is a graduate of Grand Blanc High School and will be attending Michigan State University this fall. She plans to study business and dance and hopes to be involved in the entertainment industry.
