Young Christian Boy Beaten in Somalia
Somalia (International Christian Concern) – Morningstar News released a report about a 7 year old Christian boy being beaten in Somalia. In the report, the website says that they received a message from a Christian man in Somalia who has been persecuted for many years. The man, unnamed for security reasons, says that he had just finished a bible study meeting with other underground Christians in the area, when several boys found his son. His son was retruning home from a shop when the teenage boys found and beat him severely.
According to the father, the boy was taken to the hospital for three days and suffered wounds to his Face, privates, and a stab wound to his hand. The boy lost a lot of blood, but was saved by the medical care he received. Despite this, the boy is in need of more medical care. The father told Morningstar, “It is not possible to get justice in this part of Somalia where almost everyone is a Muslim. We are being hunted down like wild animals because of putting our faith in Issa [Jesus]. Always our security is at stake. We need prayers and financial support for the treatment of my son.”
Somalia continues to be one of the worst persecutors of Christians in the world today. They ranked 3rd on Open Doors World Watch List for 2020, as they continue to kill and harass any and all Christians that are found.
