The vice president of the European Parliament Mr Ryszard Czarnecki discussed with Mr Ziyad Raoof actions in favor of the Kurds and Kurdistan
This week Ziyad Raoof, the KRG Representative to Poland met with high-level delegation of Polish politicians: Ryszard Czarnecki- the vice-president of the European Parliement, professor Karol Karski- Member of the European Parliement, and professor Pawe? Czubik- international law expert, who is advising KRG Poland.

During the meeting, the deputies have spoken to Ziyad Raoof about actions which were lately taken in favor of the Kurdish matters: about unanimously passed resolution in the European Parliement recognizing ISIS’s crime against Yezidi as genocide, also about Mr Ryszard Czarnecki’s letter to Jean Claude Juncker and Federica Mogherini in which he is suggesting the increase of the European humanitarian help for the refugees in Kurdistan and direct military help for Peshmergas who are fighting against ISIS.

Ryszard Czarnecki also reported on his last visit to Kurdistan in January. He emphasized his solidarity with the Kurds as well as the Peshmerga fighters and informed that he already published four articles about his travel.

The representative of KRG discussed with the deputies the possible ways of increasing humanitarian help for refugees in the Kurdistan Region, military help, and also how to sustain collaboration between Poland and Kurdistan.

Ziyad Raoof thanked his guests for their solidarity with Kurdistan and for all their actions that are taken in favor of Kurdish matter. He informed about present humanitarian situation in the region, events from the battlefield against ISIS, and progressive preparations for organizing referendum on independence matter.
