The militants of the Islamic State ISIL destroyed the crosses and the cave of Lady martyrs of Saint Paul Chaldean Church in Mosul

Militants of the terrorist State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) destroyed at the beginning of this week the crosses of the Chaldean Saint Paul Church. This church located in Almuhandiseen neighbourhood at the left bank of the city of Mosul. They descended and destroyed the cross that located at the top front of the church. They also destroyed another cross sculpted on the outside wall of the church and the statue of Virgin Mary inside the cave of the Lady martyrs located in the courtyard of the church.
It is noteworthy that the cave contains three columns, including a column on which a cross was placed to the special master of martyrs, Archbishop Raraj Rahho, and clock of father Ragheed Kani, while the other column held a special symbol of the alive and their march toward the living water.
On the witness shrine, the verse saying: “My bless is enough for you because the power complement the weakness”, and underneath was placed a picture of the martyr Bishop and on both sides of the picture written his words about his meeting with the brother disabled and his meeting with the Lord. On the other side placed the logo of the “Love and Joy Group”.
