The Syriac Orthodox Church

The Patriarch of Antioch is the Supreme Head of the Syriac Orthodox Church. The church’s official seat is in Damascus, but because of the situation in Syria the church is currently based in Beirut.

The church has around 5.5 million members around the world, 80,000 of whom live in Sweden.
