Campbell: Thieves steal St. Bernadette statue from church display

Thieves in Campbell stole a statue of St. Bernadette from an outside display at St. Mary Assyrian Chaldean Catholic Church, according to police.

The statue, standing between five- and six-feet tall, was discovered missing Friday at about 10 a.m. Police say the statue was taken sometime between 9 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. Friday.

Capt. Charley Adams said police do not have any leads in the case and are asking anyone with information about the theft and or location of the statue to contact investigations supervisor Sgt. Gary Berg at 408-866-2184.
