Failed attempt to bombing the Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Kirkuk

 A reliable source from the police Kirkuk said that an explosive device containing dangerous and fast explosive materials placed this morning near the Evangelical Presbyterian Church. The church is located in Almass district in the city of Kirkuk.
The source said in a statement to the site of Ankawa.com, the bomb was containing petrol, Curtin explosive and highly explosive detonators. The bomb placed next to the wall of the church near the caravan of the guards.
The source confirmed that the team of explosive experts from Kirkuk police was able to dismantling the device in a way that did not cause any harm to the church and the surrounding buildings.
It should be mentioned that the wave of targeting the churches in Kirkuk has escalated in recent weeks. This wave included the bombing of two churches and failed in targeting and bombing another two churches.
