Association of Genocide Scholars presents “Genocide: Truth, Memory, Justice, and Recovery”

July 19 – 22, 2011 ~ The Association of Genocide Scholars presents the 9th biennial conference of Genocide: Truth, Memory, Justice, and Recovery.

“The conference welcomes papers and sessions in all aspects of genocide, particularly those devoted to the theme, “Genocide: Truth, Memory, Justice, and Recovery” through innovative panels, workshops, and papers that consider the dynamics, causes, and consequences of genocide.”

Among the one hundred seventy international scholars presenting at this conference will be (Assyrian) Dr. Anahit Khosroeva, who is the Senior Researcher at the Institute of History in the Armenian National Academy of Sciences.

Dr. Khosroeva was last spotted lecturing at the “Remembrance and Tribute” for the late documentary Film Maker and Human Rights Activist Lina Yakubova in Chicago.

Open to scholars, graduate and undergraduate students, the conference is scheduled to take place at the Universidad Nacional de Tres Febrero in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
