In a continues effort to highlight and to advocate for the plight of Christians (Chaldeans Assyrians Syriac) in Iraq and for those who are stranded in countries of refuge, today representatives from the Chaldean American Organizations and the Chaldean Assyrian Syriac Council of America (CASCA) met with U.S. Senator Carl Levin in order to help introducing our people’s issues to the new Obama Administration. The following CASCA Directors attend the meeting: Dave Nona, Joseph T. Kassab, Martin Manna, and Mike Koza, from the Chaldean American Chamber of Commerce. Earlier in Chicago, CASCA Directors Robert Dekelaita, Ashour Zaia and Sheba Mando met with US Representative Jan Schakowsky to discuss and press on the same issues.
