A Report from ACERO Headquarters – England, United Kingdom
The Diocese of the Assyrian Church of the East in Syria has directly reported that Maryam David Talya, an ?Assyrian? ??Christian? hostage held in al-Hassaka, Syria has been released on 27 March 2016 and will arrive in the town of Tel Tamar soon.

Maryam David Talya was included in the list of 43 hostages released on 22 February 2016 but was removed from the released group without the knowledge of the Assyrian Church of the East for unknown reasons by the hostage takers. This release follows prolonged and arduous negotiations on behalf of the released hostage on the part of the Assyrian Church of the East.

ACERO continues to request the generous support of our donors for the ongoing needs of the released hostages and their extended families. The need is great and these people are relying on your support. This Easter, please consider making a generous donation.
