Today, through the participation in the 2nd International Symposium on Christianity in the Middle East held under the auspice of the St. Thomas the Apostle Chaldean Catholic Diocese –USA in Southfield, Michigan, Joseph T. Kassab, President of and Founder of the non-profit humanitarian Iraqi Christians Advocacy and Empowerment Institute (ICAE) proposed to bring ISIS in Iraq and Syria to justice through International Criminal Tribunal. The conferees along with the International Community agreed that ISIS continue to commit genocidal crimes against Christians of the region and need to be brought to justice. This calling blends well with the Christian teaching and values which follows a non-violent approach that may defeat ISIS criminal acts and ideology.
ICAE calls upon all people of goodwill and justice to assist in this matter by consulting with the terror impacted Christians, United Nations, the The International Criminal Court – the Hague, and the Governments of Iraq and Syria.
