MUSICAL SOIRÉE IN AID OF CHARITY HELD IN RICHMOIND, SURREY

RICHMOND, SURREY, 19TH JULY, 2008: A musicale soiree, organised by ICIN, was held in the presence of Her Worship the Mayor of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, Councillor Helen Lee-Parsons, to raise awareness and much needed funds for the Iraqi displaced Christians. Iraqi musical talent performed jointly with British professional musicians to a packed audience.

Artists included Roger Sayer (Organist and Director of Music at Rochester Cathedral), Stephen Rhys MBE (Professor (retired) of Royal Academy of Music), Alicia Hunt (International Flautist), Jo Coker (Soprano), London Symphony Chorus Singers, Close Harmony Group (including Mark Bahoshy), and organiser and performers Joe Bahoshy & Claude Bahoshy on the piano.

This instrumental Music and Song evening was followed by a Grand Iraqi Buffet.
The event was held at St Elizabeth’s Church, The Vineyard, Richmond, Surrey.
ICIN is a UK registered charity for the relief of financial hardship and distress of Iraqi Christians in need.
