Sources of Ankawa.com in Mosul reported to our site that one of the armed groups of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria, who control the city of Mosul, has seized the Archdiocese of Syriac Orthodox (St. Afram Church) in the city.
The sources added that the process of seizing the building of the Archdiocese, which located in Alshurta neighbourhood at the left bank of the city (opposite to the Chaldean Archdiocese), has took place today where 3 pickup cars loaded with gunmen came, occupied the building and raised the flag of the Islamic State.
