Rita Matloob, Civil engineering student, received a $10,000 scholarship from the Canadian Engineering Memorial Foundation for her work as an ambassador for the profession. Rita received her scholarship certificate at the CEMF Annual Awards Ceremony in Halifax.
The organization said the competition was strong this year. However, Rita was one of the best exemplified the award’s values.
Rita has also received other scholarship for her academic achievement including: Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC), Outstanding scholar, and Entrance scholarship.
