Aoun at Chaldean Cathedral in Support of Iraq
 Having attended Sunday mass service at the Chaldean Cathedral of St. Rafael – Hazmieh, former Army General Michel Aoun spoke against the massacre of Christians at the Baghdad Church last month.
Aoun told Chaldean bishop Kassarji and dignitaries present at the mass that the massacre of innocent worshipers betrayed all religious and moral principles and that they ran contrary to the teachings of the Koran.
Aoun concluded that murdering innocent people was not permissible under any circumstance particularly that the majority of the victims at the Lady of Salvation Church were innocent non-combatants.
The bishop conferred on Aoun in the name of the Chaldean Church of Lebanon, an honorary coat-of-arms in appreciation for his support
