Assyrian-Chaldean-Syriacs Remembered on Holocaust Day in Wales, 27th January 2010

  The small Welsh-Armenian Community will be supporting the Welsh National Holocaust Day Event in City Hall, Cardiff at 1 p.m. to the best of our ability
  . Two years ago the Armenian Genocide monument in the garden of the Temple of Peace, King Edward VIII Ave was desecrated during the early hours on Holocaust Memorial Day and our Holocaust Prayers at the monument were disrupted by fascist hecklers.

At 2.15 p.m. at the end of the HMD event in City Hall we invite Assyrian-Chaldean-Syriacs to gather outside City Hall and solemnly walk with us to the Genocide Monument in the garden at the back of the Temple of Peace, King Edward VIII Ave to a simple flower -laying ceremony (at around 2.45 p.m.) to remember the Victims of all Genocides and other atrocities,in particular the Victims of 1915, 1934 and the recent ethnic cleansing in Iraq.. Prayers will be said by Father. Shnork Baghdassarian. You are warmly invited to lay flowers and even to paricipate with a prayer , poem or song

Gwahoddiad ar ddydd yr Holocost, 27ain Ionawr 2010

Bydd y gymuned fechan Armenaidd yng Nghymru yn cefnogi Digwyddiad Dydd yr Holocost yn Neuadd y Ddinas, Caerdydd, hyd eithaf ein gallu.
  Dwy flynedd yn ol, cafodd Cofeb Hil-laddiad yr Armeniaid yng ngardd y Deml Heddwch ei malurio yn ystod bore Dydd yr Holocost, ac amharwyd ar ein gweddiau ger y gofeb gan elfennau ffasgaidd.

Am 2.15 p.m. ar derfyn y digwyddiad , mae gwahoddiad cynnes i chi ymgynnull tu allan i Neuadd y Ddinas ac yna cyd-gerdded gyda ni at Gofeb yr Hil-laddiad, ger y Deml Heddwch, i seremoni syml o osod blodau (am 2.45 p.m.) i gofio pawb a fu farw neu a ddioddefodd mewn hil-laddiadau ac erchyllderau eraill. Bydd y Tad Shnork Baghdassarian yn gweddio. Mae croeso i chi osod blodau er cof am rai o’ch dewis chi., ac i gymeryd rhan gyda gweddi, darn o farddoniaeth neu gan.
