Gunmen open fire on a deacon in Mosul and seriously injured him

Unknown gunmen opened fire this morning, the 30th of December 2009, on one of our people in Mosul while he was in his place of work and shot him, he was seriously injured.

A trusted source reported to our site of ankawa.com that a group of gunmen attacked the deacon Zaki Basheer Hamo in his shop in Mosul Al-Jadeada district and fired him with several bullets, wounding him seriously and was taken to the hospital.
The deacon Saki is the owner of a shop selling hand tools, bolts and he serves as a deacon in Al-Tahera church, the church that exposed to bombing last week. Our site knew from the hospital where he is laying that his health is stable now.
Our people in Mosul are exposes to a series of attacks in the last period, including the assassination of many of them and blowing up the houses of worship and churches.
