A Christmas Celebration 5th Dec 2009 in Aid of ICIN (Iraqi Christians In Need)

There will be Carols, Organ music and Readings to celebrate the Birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. Carols in English and Arabic performed by:
Singers from London Symphony Chorus (The Chorus has achieved international acclaim in concerts and on record and performs regularly at the Barbican) and Mar Behnam Choir Brought together by their love of Iraqi liturgical music, this group of young Iraqis sings regularly at Syriac Catholic Masses on Sundays. Conductor: Joe Bahoshy, Organist: Claude Bahoshy.

ICIN is particularly delighted to announce that Her Worship the Mayor of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames Councilor Celia Hodges and Dr Vince Cable, MP for Twickenham and Lib Dem Shadow Chancellor of the Exchequer, and Mrs. Cable.

This charity was established in the UK to raise much needed funds to help the displaced Iraqi Christians who as a result of events during the past few years, have been displaced, destitute, persecuted and are suffering financial hardship.
