The militants of the Islamic State in Mosul derail the property and furniture of St. Afram Church, located in Alshurta neighbourhood at the left bank of the city, in order to start selling them. A picture circulated by activists on the social networking site (Facebook) showed the wooden seats (the pews) of the church placed in front of the church entrance.
The militants of ISIS took these seats out of the church in order to continue the liquidation of the church furniture and then converting the church into Mosque.
It should be mentioned that the militants of ISIS have seized the church last July, removed the cross located above the building and converted it to a special headquarter called Al-Mujahedeen Shura Council.
